1) Research interests
Health systems, digital health, health information systems, system design and implementation, scale-up and sustainability of health IT initiatives in the low resource settings.
2) Current academic status
I am currently a part-time doctoral student in the Carolina Health Informatics Program. I work full-time as the Senior Technical Specialist for Digital Health and Information Systems in the USAID-funded global health information systems project called MEASURE Evaluation at the Carolina Population Center.
3) Favorite hobby or relaxation activity
I enjoy watching basketball and soccer besides reading motivational books and articles. My favorite relaxation activity is spending time with family and friends.
4) Book/s which inspired me
I am inspired by Robin Sharma’s book ‘The Monk Who Sold His Ferrari: A Fable About Fulfilling Your Dreams & Reaching Your Destiny’. It has influenced my personal and professional life in a positive way and helped to build a work-life balance. Someday, I would like to write a book that describes how to excel when odds are unfavorable.
