3) Favorite hobby or relaxation activity
When I was a child, I loved writing and daydreaming. As a parent, my favorite hobby is to watch my two kids playing, writing, and daydreaming.
4) Book/s which inspired me
Life and Death in Shanghai by Nien Cheng is one of my favorite memoirs. It is a compelling account of Mrs. Cheng’s persecution, imprisonment, and survival during China’s culture revolution. Her astounding courage, keen thought, strong will against injustice inspired thousands of people including me. This book was written in English by the author when she was seventy-one years old and remained on the New York Times bestseller list for months after it was published in 1986. The memoir is still available at Amazon.
I hope I can record all the jokes that my kids have shared with me into a little book so that it can pass down to their next generation. Just for fun!
